Well you can also term it as someone who thinks they are bigger than they are......a bit of a show off. Hence the term of "ONE of the lads being a normal run off the mill guy against, a bit of a jack the lad.
(As i'm sure punk means many things?).

Havent seen the Los bots film since i video's it off a german station when it was filmed Moons ago (no pun).

btw...an old teacher who was friends with simon and his father said, the young mr phillips went through chapins book in about two weeks! Thats not to say he mastered every exercise in it, but that he was capable of dexterity at a young age.

My analogies of swimming pools and people drinking in bars have gotten too sublime, or absurd. My apologies. But to see the allegory through, if these guys were true to their HOD personalities, this might be the case: Dave would be drinking a diet Pepsi and would not notice a fan, Virgil and Vinnie (Budweisers?) might wave at a fan but go back to their beer.

I think Simon (Jack & Coke) would be the first among them to wave a fan over. He seems to have that Jack the Lad personality that Pocket spoke of. On his website a fan wrote Simon that he was fortunate enough to own one of Simon's old kits, and asked what albums and tour history that particular set had. Simon answered the questions and then requested the fan to: "Look after the kit for me." I admired the friendliness and sincerity of the guy (as well as his world class ability.)

Ah, tequila! Definitely a Jack the Lad drink. Luke orders Simon a Jack & Coke on a Doves of Fire bootleg I got to hear.
